Happy Monday Lovelies. Hope everyone had an
amazing weekend and recharged for this work week.
Ever had an event where you wait till the last minute to shop for an outfit?
Well this was my crisis last month for a close friends traditional wedding.
Nothing in stores spoke to me and in the end I just turned to my
good old closet for inspiration. Ended up pairing this maxi skirt,
last seen here, with African print Top to and viola!! I was all
ready for the ball.
One of the advantages of running a
fashion blog is the endless opportunities to recreate looks using pieces
already in your closet. Although this outfit was not the one I had original
planned for the occasion, I felt like the belle of the ball since it had a
perfect combination of traditional and western influence.
